What we treat as emergencies

Same-day or next-day priority — we'll bump scheduled work to fit you in:

• Wasps or yellow jackets near entryways or play areas. A nest above a back door or under a deck where kids play isn't something to live with for a week.
• Active rodent infestations during winter. Mice in the kitchen or droppings showing up daily in living spaces means the population has grown enough that delays compound.
• Carpenter ants visible inside the home. Indoor carpenter ant activity often means an established interior colony — every week matters once you've seen them.
• A sudden surge after rain or weather events. Heavy spring storms or fall temperature drops can trigger sudden pest activity that wasn't there a week earlier.
• Allergic-reaction risk. If someone in the home has a wasp or bee allergy, any nest near the property is a priority for us.

What's not an emergency

These are real problems and we treat them — but they don't need same-day response and you'll save the urgency for when you actually need it:

• A spider you saw once in the basement
• A few ants on the kitchen counter (usually a sign of a larger colony, but not urgent)
• Mosquitoes in the yard during the daytime
• A wasp nest in a remote part of the property, away from doors and walkways

What you can do until we arrive

For wasps and yellow jackets near doorways: keep the area clear if you can. Don't try to spray a large nest yourself — disturbing it without proper equipment can trigger a swarm.

For active rodent activity: hold off on traps until we can assess entry points. Trapping without exclusion just keeps the cycle going — you'll catch a few mice and new ones will keep showing up.

For everything else: just call. If we can answer it over the phone, we will.
